Anticipation.

This will almost certainly be the last post before I go into labor. We'll reach 40 weeks this weekend! Part of me thought I would have delivered by now.

Honestly not too much has happened in the last month. Since we got back home from our travels, we have managed to stay homebodies. It's been comforting and I've adjusted well to it.

Lots of updates from friends the past few weeks! We attended a baby shower for our friends Bryan and Krystal, Kelsey moved back east, and Sam revealed she's  expecting a boy in January!! I'm so excited and happy about all the news!!

Zach was interested in seeing the baby one last time via ultrasound. We've been getting ultrasounds every week with the hospital, but they only check a few things and we wanted to have a bit more information. So we went to a longer ultrasound a couple weekends ago.

We celebrated Independence Day with friends and watched fireworks from the house!

Leah also arrived that night! It's so fun to have her here and a backup for Zach whenever I need help/support.

Now that I'm on maternity leave, we've been making the most of the free time by spending it with Lexi. We took her to the pool one day and Uptown Jungle a week later. I'm glad we've been able to take advantage of both our time off!

And now we're just on baby watch.... Hopefully it happens soon!
