Preparation.

Life has appeared to have slowed down since we got back from NC but time is still flying by!

We spent the last few days of our trip in Raleigh so I could attend my 10 year college reunion and catch up with friends that I hadn't seen in way too long.

The BEST time catching up with my girls!!!
Love seeing old friends grow and take on new and exciting roles...like MOM!!!
Roommates reunited! Can't believe the growth. A mom, a principal, and a business analyst :P
And of course seeing high school friends in the area! Some of the best times.

It felt SO GOOD to see old friends and fall back into our friendships like no time had passed. I am so proud of all of them too. I love watching all my friends develop and go through new phases in life.

Nearly ready!

Once we got back home, we knew it was time to finally settle down and prepare for the baby. We've been working on setting up the nursery and putting some finishing touches on the house.

Like getting a dining table!

I finally narrowed it down and decided on a hospital and doctor to birth with.

And we took some maternity photos!

On Memorial Day, we celebrated Lexi's birthday!

Hamster themed birthday cake for the 8 year old birthday girl!

Zach's been putting his new grill to great use and providing dinners nearly every night, too!

The first course, haha.
The actual main course :P

June has been crammed with last minute baby classes and hospital tours (just in case our initial plan doesn't follow through). Although we're hardly leaving the house, it feels like we have so much going on.

Working on mastering the baby wrap, too.

We celebrated Zach's mom's birthday last weekend.

Zach made dinner, Lexi & I made the cake!

And reached 36 weeks!

Next weekend we have more baby classes and doctor visits. I'm officially on maternity leave in a few days which I guess will give me some time to plan meals and finish reading before the baby is here. Although I wasn't expecting pre-delivery time off, so I really don't have much to do!

My sister gets in next month and then the baby will arrive! So much to look forward to. I hope we are able to handle it all.

Until next time....
