Autumn.

What a whirlwind the past few weeks have been!

Shortly after our Washington adventures, Zach and I hopped on the (f)unemployment train to dedicate more time to personal matters. Despite not working, I feel like this is the busiest we've been yet!

Our first agenda item was a trip to NC so Zach could finally meet my family. It was great being back home and escaping the California heat. Every time I visit, I miss it more and more. I showed him a bit of my adolescent upbringing/college life, we celebrated my mom's birthday, and we had a small engagement party.

In between all that, we hiked!

We originally anticipated a Hawaii trip for Zach's birthday, but decided to postpone due to the crazy pandemic that's overtaken the year. Instead, we opted to National Park hop between Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. Quite different from Plan A, but still a fun experience.

After that, we eventually settled back into the Southern California routine. Been chipping away at the wedding, upcoming holiday plans, and I passed my ScrumMaster certification!

Next up, the Grand Canyon.
